Kelly Posey, Children's Choir Coord., Dir. of Hosanna Choir & Musikgarten Instructor

Kelly Posey is a native of Nashville and has been a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 30 years.  She attended Belmont College, earning a degree in music and has more recently earned several certifications in children’s music education, with over 50 hours of training in the Musikgarten curriculum.  Kelly loves teaching Musikgarten classes to babies and toddlers (and their mamas) on Mondays, here at the church.

Kelly has been teaching music to the preschoolers of our church since 2001 as the director of the Cherub Choir and as a volunteer at VBS.  Kelly believes music is one of the most joyous ways we can worship our Lord and feels honored and blessed to be able to share that joy with our younger church members!

Kelly and her husband, Kenny, have two children – daughter, Kendall, 16 years old, and son, Kamaron, 13 years old – who both sang in the children’s choirs of First Presbyterian for many years.  Yes, they both started out in their mama’s choir!
