Psalmody (7th – 12th grade)
Choir and Instrumental Ensembles
Psalmody meets in the narthex once a month on Sunday mornings and for special rehearsals throughout the year to prepare for regular worship leadership. Directed by Carol McClure, Psalmody members play and sing in the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services monthly.
For the past few years, Psalmody serves as the recording choir for Viva Voce, St. James Music Press. In 2013-2014, Psalmody singers and instrumentalists performed in the FPC Christmas Concert and the Nashville Ballet Nutcracker Christmas concert. Also in 2013, marking the 100th anniversary of Britten’s birth, they performed both Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and Abraham and Isaac.
